On 15 December, APDL hosted the RNCZ Final Event “From Roadmap to Action”, in Viana do Castelo. The event brought together representatives from the public administration, industry, academia, and European initiatives to discuss the next steps in the energy transition of the naval shipbuilding, repair, and maintenance sector.
Throughout the session, the main results of the RNCZ project were presented, along with its roadmap. This was followed by two roundtable discussions: one focusing on the implementation of decarbonisation at a national level, and the other on the perspectives and lessons learned from European clusters for zero-carbon shipbuilding.
